Loved the comb.

Those are both beautiful! go with the comb!

Since the dress is long and shaped a little like most veils, i recommend the comb. I think the comb is gorgeous!

You can wear a comb under the veil. You won’t be wearing the veil for pictures. If you’re doing pictures beforehand (aka he’s going to see you before the ceremony) the veil is really pointless though.

Personally I think the veils are old fashion and out of season. A tiara is very elegant .On your special day you want to look and feel like a princess and the tiara will be one of the acessories to make you look make you look STUNNING! And I am sure your prince charming would adore it. You can not go wrong with a tiara it can almost go with any dress or gown. Good Luck with your decission.

dont do the veil, go with the comb!

How about both! I think you could wear the veil and comb for the ceremony and just the comb for the reception. A good veil would probably be a long soft veil. Waltz length (going down to your knees) is really nice.

The dress is so flowy that I think a veil would be to much but the combs are great.

If you go for a veil, I would go for an elbow length veil (best option) or a floor length (complimenting/matching the style of dress). A fingertip length veil would look odd with the flowing style of the dress. I personally think the comb would look best with this dress.

However, the veil can make you feel very ‘bridal’ go try on a dress with a veil and see whether it’s something you want.

Wow that dress is stunning. If you want a veil you could have something very basic. Ie: thin tulle or maybe even a cream lace.

I think the comb is a great Idea but I think the dress needs something else. Maybe a comb with feathers or a big flower maybe.

All the Best for your upcoming wedding!

I think either would be beautiful, but my vote is for the comb. It’s a bit more unique, and I think it would highlight the dress more whereas a veil might distract the eye. I recommend trying both and taking a trusted friend with you (and take pictures of it both ways) to help you decide. I’m sure bridal shoppes would let you try on their veils with your own dress if it means they might sell the veil.

This dress would look silly with the veil. Go with the comb!

madredejohnson December 30, 2009 at 5:28 pm

i would go with either the veil or the comb. a veil just seems like it would be too much for that dress, and the comb is beautiful, i love it.

The decorated comb idea is nice since the dress is so informal. I don’t think a veil would look good.

sparkleythings_4you January 1, 2010 at 7:20 pm

What a pretty dress, it’s very elegant, great choice! The comb is really pretty and would look very nice with this dress. I think a veil would work very nicely if it was simple and un-fussy.

Definetly go with the comb.

Good Luck and Congratulations.
